NATIONAL TEACHERS DAY COMMEMORATION

This year is very special for us. SMPN 1 Dukun was chosen by PGRI Dukun Sub-District as a place for commemorating Teachers’ National Day. This held on Wednesday, 22^nd November 2023 at 10 am to 2 pm. There were 575 teachers from all schools in Dukun Sub-District who were invited and attended this event. Mr. Susno, S.Pd.,M.Pd., as the head of PGRI Magelang Regency, Mr. Untung Sujoko, S.Ip.MM., as the head of Dukun Sub-District and the Forkompincam, and the headmasters from all schools in Dukun Sub-District who were also invited in this event.

This event was led by Novia Yeni Fatmawati, S.Pd., and Fita Dwi Nur Aini, S.Pd. – teacher from SMPN 1 Dukun as the MC. It was opened by sang an Indonesia Raya song then prayed by Mr. Mad Riyanto, S.Pd.,M.Pd.I. It was continued with receptions from the guests. There were a lot of wonderful performances from schools in Dukun Sub-District. First, there was Choir of PGRI Dukun that sang Mars PGRI, Hymn PGRI, and Taman Curug Song. Next was Gambyong Dance that showed by Ria Ervina, S.Pd., and Monitia Sri Pradina, S.Pd. It symbolizes welcoming dance for the guests. The dancers are SMPN 1 Dukun’s teachers who brings the students become the winner in dancing competition in Magelang Regency. Next performance was from IGTKI – IGRA – SD – MI of Dukun Sub-District. IGTKI showed NaraTani Merapi then IGRA showed Tari Islami ( Rohmatan Lil Alamin). SD devided into 3 groups, called Dabin 1, Dabin 2, and Dabin 3. Dabin 1 showed Indiahe Magelang Dance, Dabin 2 – Soreng Dance, and Dabin 3 – Brodut Dance. The last performance was from MI that showed Kubro Siswo Dance. This even was really wonderful and the teachers’ skills are incredible!

This event closed by announcing the competition that had been held on 3^rd week of November. There were Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, and Tumpengan. Congratulation for the winner!
